Gorham campus
Our rural Gorham campus, just 11 miles from Portland, is home to our residence halls and the center of undergraduate student life. You’ll find the perfect fit with residential communities including social justice, citizenship, the rainbow floor, and more. This energetic, welcoming community buzzes with student activities, labs and classes, athletic events, music and performing arts, entertainment, and plenty of fun.
Dining options
Use your meal plan at Brooks Dining Hall for access to a variety of dietary options and food stations. Grab a to-go meal at the Husky Hideaway or a quick snack in Bailey Hall. Stop by the Ice Arena to catch a hockey game with classic concessions.
Living on campus
We offer housing options on our Gorham and Portland campuses. Gorham is a quiet, suburban environment where you can build relationships. Portland is a busy, urban campus, which is great for internship access as a junior or senior.
Southern Maine Huskies
We sponsor 22 NCAA Division III intercollegiate teams and nearly 500 student-athletes who routinely compete at the regional and national levels. If sports aren’t your thing, you can cheer on your favorite Huskies from the sidelines!
Fitness center
Join one of our fitness classes, sign up for one-on-one or small-group personal training, or participate in intramural sports. As a bonus, we recently purchased new state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Community members welcome!

Our Lewiston-Auburn campus is now home to several healthcare-focused programs through partnerships with the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) and the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI).
