The Cartographic Image of New England and Strategic Planning during the Revolutionary War
An examination of the Douglass-Jefferys-Green Map of the Most Inhabited Part of New England (1755), of its use for strategic planning by Hugh, Earl Percy, British general in Boston, New York, and Rhode Island, 1774-1777, and of its cartographic significance in determining the image of New England.
