Pusey Named USM Development Officer

William Pusey of Kennebunk has been named development officer at the University of Southern Maine. Pusey will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the university's development team and the region's business community.

Pusey, a graduate of the University of Vermont, brings 18 years of experience in a range of positions, most recently as a vice president and business development officer at Gorham Savings Bank. He is past chair of the USM Corporate Partners, an organization formed in 1989 to develop partnerships between the business sector and the university.

The Vermont native is a board member of Maine Youth Leadership, a member of the American Red Cross Philanthropy Committee and serves on the United Way of Greater Portland's 2006 Campaign Cabinet. He also has been active as a coach and officer for the Kennebunk Lacrosse Club.
