News ReleasesWMPG Hosts First Annual Family Festival July 26, 2006USM's non-profit, community radio station, WMPG, broadcasting at 90.9 and 104.1 on the FM dial, will host its first Annual Family Festival from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, August 12, on the Luther Bonney Green on the Portland campus. Admission is free, but donations to the station will be accepted. The festival will feature live performances by local musicians, including award-winning children's performers Sammie Haynes and Mary Kaye. Singer-songwriters Rick and Elaine Colella will perform along with other local musicians and WMPG volunteers. Other activities include a story time, puppets, face painting, juggling and games.
