Shawn Babine Elected to USM Alumni Association Board of
Directors

The University of Southern Maine Alumni Association recently
elected Shawn Babine to its Board of Directors. Babine, who
graduated from USM in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in business,
is a corporate risk manager and portfolio analyst for Banknorth.
He also serves as a Scarborough town councilor, and is a member
of the Greater Portland Council of Governments. In addition,
Babine is a program advisor for the Intercollegiate Scholastic
Institute, a publishing house in Washington D.C. He formerly
served on the USM Alumni Association Board from 1997-1999.
Babine lives with his wife Terry, also a USM alum, and their
daughter Olivia in Scarborough.
