News ReleasesFourth Annual USM Ethics Symposium May 5th Features Former Felon April 11 , 2006Steven Clark, former Arkansas attorney general, lost everything and was convicted as a felon. Now he's back on his feet and sharing his perspective on the lack of ethics in our business and personal worlds. Clark's story is of the rise of a young lawyer to powerful appointments and his fall through fraud, misappropriations, felony conviction, fines, and the loss of his law credentials. Now he's back. He says, "I've been to the top and to the bottom and I like the middle better. That's my story and I'm sticking to it." His presentation at the USM Ethics Symposium on May 5th will be "High Rise, Hard Fall." The symposium, presented by the USM School of Business, will be on the 7th floor of the Glickman Library on the Portland campus from 8:30 to 11 a.m. A continental breakfast will be available at 8:15 a.m. This year's symposium is sponsored by Drummond Woodsum & MacMahon, Investment Management & Consulting Group, Macdonald Page & Co.
