USM Hosts 9th Annual Gorham Marketplace

The 9th annual Gorham Marketplace will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 at the University of Southern Maine's Costello Field House in Gorham. The event, sponsored by the Gorham Business and Civic Exchange, is an opportunity for local businesses to showcase the products and services available in the town of Gorham.

The Gorham Marketplace will feature over 90 exhibitors from both the local profit and non-profit sectors. 30 of the exhibitors are brand new to the show this year. There also will be a demonstration area for local clubs and organizations.

The event is free of charge and all are welcome to attend, including children. In fact, this year's Children's corner is bigger than ever and features a bouncing house, arts and crafts and various games.

This year's Marketplace will also feature a food court with local restaurants, an American Red Cross blood-drive and big money drawings throughout the day. In addition, the event will include an entertainment stage featuring a range of local performers.
