Joyce Doyle

Joyce is the Public Relations Director for the University of Southern Maine School of Music. She previously worked as Public Relations Librarian for the Missoula Public Library, and worked at the University of Montana Mansfield Library in Missoula, Mont., and the John Curtis Free Library in Hanover, Mass.

Prior to her work in libraries, Joyce served as speechwriter to the chancellor at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She was a reporter and editor of several weekly community newspapers, for which she won awards through the New England Press Association and the Massachusetts Press Association in feature writing, business writing, and general excellence. Joyce was a book reviewer for VOYA : Voice of Youth Advocates Magazine, reading and reviewing six newly- and pre-published texts each year, and has worked as a freelance magazine feature writer for a number of publications including The Writer and Northwest Travel.

Joyce is a 1993 cum laude graduate of Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., where she received a BA in Communication Arts with a minor in Theatre Arts. She is a graduate of Westwood High School in Westwood, Mass.
