A registration confirmation will be sent via e-mail along with required camper forms (medical, parental consent, and policies) in PDF format.

• There is a $25 fee for returned checks.
A refund (of all but the $50 non-refundable deposit) will be issued if notice of cancellation is given at least two weeks prior to the start of camp. If a cancellation occurs within the two weeks prior to the start of camp no refund will be issued unless there is a documented extraordinary circumstance.
USM is not able to offer scholarships but will accept scholarships and grants from outside vendors. Please enclose verification of a scholarship with your registration. If the scholarship covers the full amount of the camp, a deposit along with verification is still required with registration. Once full payment is received, the deposit will be refunded.
MISSING KEYS/CARD FEES
Due to new safety regulations, there will be a charge for a missing key/card. The charge for a missing key is $120 and a missing card is $30.00.
USM uses e-mail as its number one mode of communication. Therefore, please provide a working parental e-mail address. If the e-mail address changes after the initial registration, please update us so that we can continue to provide you with academy information. If our e-mail communications are not received, please contact us immediately.
Academy forms (medical, parental consent, and policies form) will be e-mailed upon receipt of registration and deposit or payment in full. The forms need to be completed and returned no later than 30 days prior to camp to guarantee a slot on the camp roster.
Program information will be e-mailed approximately one month prior to the start of camp. This will include a daily schedule, list of items, directions, check-in & check-out times, etc.
All Academies are held on the University of Southern Maine, Gorham campus. For residential programs, participants will be housed in one of USM's Residence Halls. For directions, please click here.
Roommate requests must be submitted in writing (e-mail preferred) no later than one week prior to the first day of camp. After that time, no guarantees of a preference will be honored. Requests cannot be honored at the time of check-in.
Please indicate if there are any special services, assistance, or accommodations needed to participate fully in this program. Requests for reasonable accommodations and/or special dietary needs must be received in writing one week prior to the start of the Academy.
