Catherine Gunn is a Data Resources Coordinator in the Disability and Aging program area. She has worked with the collection, management and analysis of healthcare data for multiple projects and initiatives at the Muskie School of Public Service for more than 15 years. Project work includes the implementation and management of the Value-Based Purchasing Management System for Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services; supporting the ongoing case mix reimbursement program for residential care facilities and adult family care homes based on the Minimum Data Set, and collection and coordination of improvement data for Maine’s FirstSTEPS program under its Improving Health Outcomes for Children (IHOC) initiative. Her work has involved the development and testing of various health structures, producing user guides, and conducting trainings for the systems through webinars, live trainings, and one‐on-one training. Catherine serves as the first contact for all health care providers, assisted living facilities, software vendors, and Maine DHHS for any questions and technical needs for these systems.
Catherine graduated with a BS in Environmental Science from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
