The Maine Center for Graduate Professional Studies, in conjunction with the University of Maine School of Law and the Muskie School of Public Service is hosting a talk by Joel Goldstein who will speak about his book, the vice presidency and Senator Edmund Muskie.
Joel Goldstein is the Vincent Immel Professor of Law at the Saint Louis University Law School and a prolific author. Norm Ornstein has described him as the "premier scholar" of the vice presidency, and he published earlier this year what probably is the definitive work on the modern vice presidency, The White House Vice Presidency: The Path to Significance, Mondale to Biden.
