Sue Reed is the Director of the Accreditation Facilitation Project and Maine Roads to Quality. She is responsible for managing Maine Roads and the Accreditation Facilitation Project which supports family child care providers, center-based and school-age programs interested in seeking national accreditation. Sue has been working in the field since receiving her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Syracuse University. After teaching preschoolers in upstate New York, Sue attended Wheelock College where she earned a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis in infant and toddler development. She was a director in center-based child care for three years in Massachusetts and then spent twelve years as the Director of The Children's Center of Westbrook College, where she was also a faculty member in the early childhood program. Sue has been a trainer in the field for over 15 years.
