Daniel Stasko, University of Wyoming PhD.

Prof. Stasko is an Ohio native who spent a few years kicking around the mountains of Wyoming where he obtained his Ph.D. (U. of Wyoming) in Inorganic Chemistry. He then moved to Southern California where he studied super acids during a post-doctoral stint at the University of California, Riverside. After a year as an Office of Naval Research Post-Doctoral Fellow examining fuel-cell materials, Dan started teaching as a visiting faculty member at the University of Toledo where he began his research on highly decorated boron clusters use as solid electrolytes. Dan moved to Maine in 2005 and continues to bring undergraduates into his program as research assistants. He is also interested in new technologies to assist in teaching and learning and examining the wide impact of science education around the globe.
