Students and IT Professionals Seeking Employees to Meet at Project>Login Reception
The University of Southern Maine is hosting the latest Project>Login reception, designed to bring together computer science and technology students with information technology professionals and employers in Maine. The reception will take place on the Portland campus from 5-6 p.m., Monday, March 18 on the 4th floor of the Glickman Family Library.
Among the companies sending representatives to network with USM students are Unum, WEX, the State of Maine, Tyler Tech, Cianbro, and Bangor Savings Bank.
The reception is sponsored by Project>Login, a program launched by the business-led organization Educate Maine designed to increase the numbers of computer science and information technology graduates from the University of Maine System.
The Project>Login initiative includes internship opportunities, resume posting for students, instructional events, educational resources and a network of support to grow Maine’s computer technology workforce. See Project>Login for more information.
Project>Login was launched during an event held at the University of Southern Maine on February 7.
