The exhibition includes sculpture, installation, digital works, painting, prints, and ceramic pieces by 10 USM art faculty and 10 alumni with whom the faculty have chosen to exhibit.
he Community Response Wall will be open to the USM community and general public to share written and visual responses to the themes expressed in the “Opposing Gestures” exhibition. Selected responses will be posted on a wall at the AREA Gallery, Portland campus and also will be posted online.
Nostalgia for Neverwas, Joseph Farbrook
Opposing Gestures will be on display at the Art Gallery, Gorham campus, and the AREA Gallery, Woodbury Campus Center, Portland campus, September 23-December 10. The exhibition features the new media artwork of Sama Alshaibi and Joseph Farbrook.
