News & Events

Greg Burns, a USM School of Nursing graduate and a nurse at HomeHealth Visiting Nurses of Southern Maine in Saco, ME was nominated as a finalist for the 2014 Home Care & Hospice Nurse of the Year Award. For the past 24 years, his focus has been pediatrics and he's been a strong advocate for children.
Norway Health Ministry Group
Cheryl Sarton, USM Doctorate of Nursing Practice & Graduate Nursing Program Coordinator helped welcome Bent Høie, Norway’s Minister of Health and Care Services, and a team of eight delegates, to Maine and the United States.
On Saturday, October 11, Nine students from the USM School of Nursing Casco Bay Fishing and Island Communities Partnership held a health screening clinic at the Harpswell Town Office.

The Greater Portland Older Adult Community Nursing Partnership is sponsoring a food drive as a parting gift to the residents of Harbor Terrace. The food collection box is located on the first floor of Masterton outside the LRC and will be available until December 9th.
