Dr. Deeb will discuss the origins of the Arab revolutions and what the future might look like in the countries affected. She will address the reasons for the current revolutions. She will present some of the underlying causes and earlier (failed) attempts at changing the sociopolitical conditions in the region
that have set the stage for what we are witnessing today.
