Grabbing Life by the Horns: One Couple’s Journey Toward a Satisfying, Sustainable Life

Presenters: Margaret Hathaway, author and farmer; Karl Schatz, photographer and farmer

In 2003, author Margaret Hathaway and photographer Karl Schatz left their life in New York City to follow a dream of raising goats. Today the couple lives with their three daughters and many animals on “Ten Apple Farm.” Margaret and Karl will discuss their journey, and the rewards and challenges of choosing an intentional life.

Due to the popularity of our lectures, preregistration is STRONGLY encouraged in order to secure a seat. Note: SAGE begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. Prepaid seating cannot be guaranteed after 9:20.
