Practice Blackboard Site
If you have never used Blackboard before, this site will give you a chance to see how it works. To view the site, go to courses.maine.edu.
If you have an @maine.edu id, you can log in, then click on the courses tab, then click on the Blackboard Practice Site (under Course Catalog). When you get to the next screen, click on the enroll icon to the right of the course description. Once you enroll, you can access the entire site, including a sample quiz and the discussion board.
If you do NOT have an @maine.edu id, you can still access most of the site by clicking on the Courses tab at the top of the page, then clicking on Blackboard Practice Site. On the next page, you will see DEV_A_BBPRACTICE under Course ID. Click on that ID and you will be brought into the course where you can click on buttons to the left to access some documents. You won't be able to take the sample quiz, complete an assignment or access the discussion board. To get an idea of how those work, please view the tutorials above.
