Profile

Melissa started her career in occupational therapy in Binghamton, NY at the acute care and general rehabilitation units of UHS Hospitals. She then worked as the senior OT for the Norwich, NY schools. After moving to Maine, Melissa worked at Child Development Services and soon after started a private pediatrics practice. During this time she divided time between her private practice and home health. Currently Melissa works at several skilled nursing rehabilitation facilities. Her interests include neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders, the "difficult" client, general rehabilitation and early intervention. 

Melissa lives in Cumberland with her husband and their twin boys. They enjoy outdoor activities, boating, and visiting family in Boothbay and Montana. She also loves to knit, read, garden and cook.
