Presentation by: Jane R. Wiggins, Director of the Campus Suicide Prevention Center of Virginia

About the Conference:

The conference will focus on multi-strategic approaches to suicide prevention, as well as on sharing community-building and suicide prevention resources across regional university and college campuses and high schools. Working sessions will focus on both prevention and intervention. Successful response and community building strategies from experts working at both the national and regional level will be incorporated into the working sessions.

About the Presenter:

Jane R. Wiggins, Ph.D., is the Director for the Campus Suicide Prevention Center of Virginia. Wiggins earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from Syracuse University and has extensive teaching and training experience in campus suicide prevention in higher education settings. Wiggins uses a multi-strategic model to promote mental health and effective community resources to respond to crisis situations.
