The series is designed to examine the function - and, often, the dysfunction - of politics in Maine and Washington, and to consider how politics was "played" historically, what has changed (and why), what it will take for us to get back on course, and what Maine may be able to teach the nation in this regard.
Lectures will be held Thursday afternoons, September 19 through November 7, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. on the USM Portland Campus. We have secured a formidable speaker lineup, including:
