Statewide Response to Intervention (RTI) Certificate of Graduate Study at University College Campuses and Centers
Description
This cohort will meet the requirements for the certificate of graduate study in Response to Intervention: Behavior with the option to participate in coursework to complete the certificate of graduate study in Response to Intervention: Academic. Please refer to the enclosed program sheet for more information about both certificate programs.
Course Sequence (subject to change)
Fall 2012:
SPY 620 Introduction to Multi-Tier Systems of Student Support
Spring 2013:
SPY 676 Behavioral Principles of Learning
Summer 2013:
SPY 615 Positive behavior Interventions and Supports AND SPY 610 Developing a School-wide System of Behavior Support
Fall 2013 - Spring 2014:
SPY 659 Clinical Research Methods & Elective in special education, school psychology, or as approved by advisor
Admission Information
Complete Application for Graduate Certificate Program and submit to the USM Office of Graduate Admissions by December 1, 2012.
