August 2013 Planetarium Show Schedule

AUGUST 2013 SHOW SCHEDULE

Summer is far from over. In fact, the climatologists tell us that the first week in August is the year's hottest week, on average. If you want to flee the heat and retreat into a cool space, where better than Portland's forgotten underworld: The Southworth Planetarium! We offer matinees Monday through Thursday at 11 and 1; a matinee on Saturday (Sunday matinees return in September); and, of course, our Evening astronomy shows on Friday at 7:00 and 8:30 p.m.

Also, we are pleased to announce that the Lammas Celestial Poetry evening returns on August 1st at 7:00 p.m

Spend some of your summer with the Southworth Planetarium
