STONE CIRCLE SOCIETY MEETING

"AUGUST ODYSSEY THROUGH IRELAND AND BRITAIN."
Part I
Thursday, October 24, 2013
7:00 p.m.
at the Southworth Planetarium
Free and open to the public

Stone Circle Prime Minister Lawrence Price has returned from his month-long excursion through the various stone circles in Ireland and Britain:  He toured famous sites, such as the Hill of Tara and Newgrange, but also ventured to more isolated circles far removed from any human habitation.   During his journey, he captured more than 1200 images: not just of  stone circles, but of other equally impressive sites: the world's oldest post office building (circa 13th century) and the fairie forest through which he traveled en route to one of the most impressive megalithic monuments ever hidden from the world.   Live vicariously through Lawrence as he guides us through the many ancient circles he visited in August 2013.    He combines his natural storytelling ability with myriad photos of Ireland and Britain's most enchanted locations.
