Sharoo Wengland

Sharoo Wengland serves as the main contact person for the Office of the President. In addition to managing the President Botman's complex schedule, she provides executive support, including event planning and coordination. Her duties include hiring and managing student workers employed by the Office as well as working with the University of Maine System Office as well as USM vice presidents, deans, directors, staff, faculty members, alumni, and volunteers. Sharoo has worked for the University of Southern Maine since 2005 and within the Office of the President since 2008. She is also secretary to the USM Board of Visitors. Sharoo recently completed her bachelor’s degree at USM in Social and Behavioral Sciences, graduating cum laude. In her spare time, she is the mother of two and a Girl Scout co-leader.
