Through USM's Office of Prior Learning Assessment, you may gain academic credit for skills and knowledge you've acquired on the job, in the military, or through community involvement.

Explore bachelor's and master's degrees that are fully achievable online. Taught by USM faculty, our online programs meet the same rigorous standards as our traditional, on-campus degree programs. We provide online support services that include tutoring, tech support, and academic advising through both a Faculty Advisor and an Online Student Success Advisor.

We offer more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate courses, including over 650 online — and you don't have to be enrolled in a USM degree program to register. Whether you are catching up on requirements or acquiring new skills, we have flexible course options that will work within your busy schedule.
