University of Southern Maine Faculty Exhibition Opening in Portland

The University of Southern Maine AREA Gallery in the Woodbury Campus Center, Bedford St., Portland presents an exhibition of work by members of USM’s art faculty from Thursday, January 24 through Wednesday, April 3.

An opening reception will be held from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, January 24, featuring gallery talks by the artists from 5-5:45 p.m. (snow date is 4-6 p.m., Thursday, January 31). The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. AREA Gallery hours are 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Mondays through-Fridays except holidays.

Full and part-time participating faculty members articulating numerous visions through a variety of approaches include, Judith Allen, S. Patricia Benson, George Burk, Jim Flahaven, Rebecca Goodale, Joe Kievitt, Lin Lisberger, Brandon Lutterman, Jen McDermott, Susan Colburn Motta, Jan Piribeck, Damir Porobic, Alex Sax, David Schneider, Michael Shaughnessy, and Richard Wilson.
