USM is hosting its fourth annual Husky Day of Service on Friday, March 14, with nearly 200 students, faculty, and staff expected to spend the day volunteering at local non-profit organizations.

Husky Day of Service volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at Woodbury Campus Center for breakfast and a welcome rally. After the welcome rally, volunteers meet their site leaders and depart from USM at 11 a.m.

Some volunteers will tutor English as a Second Language students at King Middle School. Others may work with the Greater Portland Charitable Furniture Foundation, helping families move furniture into their new homes.
