The University of Southern Maine will host this year’s Thinking Matters conference, a student capstone that reflects what is going on all year in academic departments across USM. Thinking Matters will take place on Friday, April 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Poster Session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Sullivan Gym on the Portland campus and will feature posters on a variety of topics including “Returning Home: Maine Combat Veterans in the Maine Court System” and “Urban Stormwater and River Quality.” For a full list of poster presentations go to http://bit.ly/1gQC77m
The Oral Session will run from 12:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Payson Smith Hall on the Portland campus and discussions will include “Composting on the USM Campus” and “Disaster Preparedness in Rural Communities.” For a full list of oral presentations go to http://bit.ly/1i2FKD7
