Victory Media is a veteran-owned business and publisher of G.I. Jobs, The Guide to Military Friendly Schools, Military Spouse and Vetrepreneur magazines. The list is generated via a data-driven survey administered by Victory Media and independently certified by Ernst and Young. It includes the top tier of U. USM’s Veterans Services assists prospective military students with navigating the GI Bill through its Yellow Ribbon Program and Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC). The Veterans Resource Center, staffed by students with prior military experience, offers a place for military students to connect with others accessing GI benefits at USM.
The Veterans Student Organization at USM seeks to create a safe place for veterans to come together, build community, and help each other overcome the challenges associated with transitioning from military to civilian and student life. The group organizes conferences and raises awareness of veterans on campus.
