Creative Intelligence, Innovation, Collaboration
The Creative Intelligence, Innovation, Collaboration (CI2) lab has the mission of developing individual and group creativity in an open concept experiential learning environment. Participants develop creative problem solving, critical thinking and marketable skills that foster innovation and community engagement. The emphasis is in collaboration on cross-disciplinary design projects that demonstrate creative research, scholarship and innovation and have the potential for creative expression and / or commercialization.
Research Mission
To support research, scholarship and creative activity to: promote knowledge, discovery and practical application to advance Maine's economy, communities and the quality of life for Maine citizens; to strengthen classroom education and transform the lives of students through real world learning opportunities; and to support faculty and staff commitment to excellence in scholarly accomplishments regionally, nationally and internationally.
