Thinking Matters is here!

Thinking Matters 2012

The University of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Community College will convene on Friday, April 27th, 2012, for their annual University-wide exhibition of student research, scholarship, and creative achievement - Thinking Matters - on USM’s Portland campus.

The goal of the conference is to provide a public forum for USM and SMCC students along with faculty, staff, and invited guests to share the results of their research and scholarship, as well as their creativity.

It is our hope that the event will celebrate and encourage student initiative, foster intellectual camaraderie, and promote mentoring in student-faculty collaboration. Students from all academic disciplines and divisions are invited to present papers or posters on any aspect of their classroom work, independent study, student-teaching, internship, clinical, scholarly or creative project.
