Sport Management

New for Fall 2014!

The Sport Management Living Learning Community is designed for students who have an interest in learning more about the sport industry, want to better understand or explore career opportunities within the sport industry, or for those who simply have a passion for sports.

Students will live together on the same residence hall floor and be enrolled together in EYE 130 The Business of Sport (and potentially ENG 100 College Writing), both required core-curriculum courses. Additionally, participants in the Sport Management Living Learning Community will attend/participate in a variety of activities outside of the classroom, such as social outings, sporting events, team building, and discussions, all of which are led by a member of the Sport Management faculty and floor Resident Assistant.

Participating in the Sport Management Living Learning Community will provide students who are passionate about sports the opportunity to build connections with peers, faculty/staff, and the broader Southern Maine sport community while providing a supportive and collaborative space for students to learn and explore.
