Profile

Holly is a graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor's of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a dual Master's of Science in Mental Health Counseling and Vocational Rehabilitation.  Currently, Holly is working on her PhD in Education Leadership through the Muskie School.  Holly brings clinical experience to the pedagogical environment.  Having worked as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) at Maine Medical Center for eight years running the Hospital Elder Life Program, Holly understands what the student needs in order to succeed in today's competitive business world. She revels in educating others in the philosophy and theory of Recreation Therapy (RT)  while helping the student to become the professional they deserve to be.  Creating networking opportunities, Holly involves the student early in their academic career so that professional opportunities for advancement are formed within the RT community.  Holly takes a special interest in helping her students succeed in their chosen direction.
