Profile

Jennifer Jain has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master's in Recreation Therapy (Recreation Administration: Outdoor Therapy). Her early experience included working with children with developmental delay and brain injuries.  During graduate school, she worked as a ropes course facilitator, environmental education instructor, camp manager and interned at a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation program for Adolescent Males.  Following graduate school, Jennifer worked with adolescence youth with emotional and behavior disorders living in group homes and crisis center. She also spent four years as a college administrator in Indiana, and has directed the Activities Department at a nursing home in Colorado. After her move to Maine in 2006, she has worked as a Recreation Therapist at Acadia Hospital with pediatric inpatient and outpatient programming. Jennifer brings with her a wealth of experience and gladly shares her knowledge with her students.
