Recreation and Leisure Studies students awarded the James Sullivan Scholarship

On October 21, 2016 the College of Science, Technology, and Health presented two Recreation and Leisure Study students with the James D. Sullivan Scholarship Award. Marly Sargent and Patrick Dragon were honored with the award by James Sullivan's daughter, Vicki Sullivan. RLS instructors Jennifer Jain and Holly Bean, along with Laure Nickerson joined the group in congratulating Marly and Patrick.

Recreational Therapy Student Named USA Hockey Disabled Athlete of the Year

Christy Gardner, a USM recreational therapy major, has been named USA Hockey's Disabled Athlete of the Year.

Recreational Therapy Professional Conference

Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies’ held their fourth annual student-hosted professional conference for recreation therapists. This event was organized by USM Students.
