RATE-Recreation Assistive Technology Exchange

The mission of the Recreation Assistive Technology Exchange (RATE) is to share information about assistive recreation devices and accessible recreation resources that are available to Maine residents who have disabilities. This mission is accomplished via workshops, visits, presentations and the dissemination of print and web based information. Persons who have disabilities, educators, therapeutic recreation specialists and other interested persons are invited to visit and contribute to RATE.

Please contact Dr. Linda R. Meyer (meyer@usm.maine.edu) RATE coordinator, if you would like to have information added to the RATE Database that pertains to recreational assistive devices that you have developed or accessible recreation resources that you would like to share with others. Exchange of information can benefit all!
