Dr. Gold has extensive private-sector experience as a financial consultant.
He is a fee-only certified financial planner, d/b/a The GOLD Company in
Portland. He holds a number of professional certifications and licenses, amongst them, the N.A.S.D. Series 7 license, the S.E.C. Registered Investment Advisor license in Maine, Life and Health Certification, and Series 63 license. Professor Gold has given numerous speeches in financial and investment matters before the public, including businesses and not-for-profit organizations. He has served as a financial-affairs columist for the newspaper and as a television host. He is currently the host of the weekly radio program, "Financially Speaking." |
