Two University of Southern Maine School of Business graduates continue to find success in their professional endeavors right here in the Greater Portland area. Tammy Volock has been named controller at locally based Clark Insurance, while Justin Hayden now holds the title of financial analyst at the agency.

Two members of the Unum Scholars program from the University of Southern Maine have already landed full-time roles with the company.
Three University of Southern Maine Business students received a combined total of $26,000 in scholarships from the Patriot Education Scholarship Fund of the Maine Community Foundation.

As a Metropolitan University, the University of Southern Maine partners with businesses and institutions throughout the state, region and nation. USM's School of Business students gain hands-on experience with more than 200 businesses and organizations in the surrounding community and beyond. The list includes the nationally known, such as Unum, LL Bean, TD Bank, Boston Bruins,  Prudential, Trader Joe’s and AARP, plus regional businesses such as AAA Northern New England, Garrand Advertising, Bath Savings Institution, Allagash Brewing, Portland Sea Dogs, Macpage LLC and Mercy Hospital.
