Pathways Scholar Award

Description

Pathways Scholar Award: Awarded to transfer students based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership skills, or other criteria. 

Annual Award: In State $2,500 Out of State $10,000 

Transfer student merit scholarships are awarded up to 3 years with full-time enrollment (15 credit hours per semester) and a G.P.A between 3.0 and 3.49

Eligibility

Students must complete their entire USM application. This includes: application fee, official high school transcript, official SAT or ACT scores, letter of recommendation and completed personal statement (essay). 

 

Only first time Bachelor's Degree seekers are eligible for Merit Scholarships. 

Award Amount

Annual Award Range $2,500 to $10,000

Priority deadline April 1

How to Apply

All qualified incoming transfer students who apply are automatically considered. Students must complete their entire application. This includes: application fee, official high school transcript, official SAT or ACT test scores, letter of recommendation and completed personal statement (essay). 

How to Renew

Maintain full-time enrollment and a 2.75 GPA
