Welcome to the School of Education and Human Development, a division of the College of Management and Human Service. We offer seven degrees with over 30 different program options, in the fields of education and human development at the certificate, master’s, certificate of advanced study, and doctoral levels.

Melissa Rosenberg, a new faculty in the Counselor Education program at the University of Southern Maine has been chosen as a 2013-2014 Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Presidential Fellow.
The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics announced Al Bean, Direcgtor of Athletics is among the 28 winners of the Under Armour Athletic Director of the Year Award.
Tom Nash is now president-elect of the Commission on Adult Basic Education's board of directors. Tom Nash earned a Masters of Science degree in Adult Education in 1992 from the University of Southern Maine.

You are invited to join in conversations with researchers, community partners, and other practitioners focused on best practices in STEM education K-12 for inclusion of all students, including ELLs.  This is an interactive day designed to promote conversation framed by the implications of the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards for underrepresented students.
