Bradley O. Babson, a consultant on Asian affairs with a present concentration on Myanmar and North Korea will be at the Auburn Public Library to discuss the Challenges and Opportunities on the Korean Peninsula. Babson worked for the World Bank for 26 years before retiring in 2000. He presently is Chair of the DPRK Economic Forum at the U.S.-Korea Institute, John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and serves on the Advisory Council of the Korea Economic Institute of America, and on the Executive Committee of the National Committee for North Korea. This program is the first of a mini-series funded by a Maine Humanities Program Grant called The World in Your Library and through a partnership with Lewiston/Auburn Senior College.
