            The Office of Community Service/Service Learning (OCS/S-L) serves the areas of Lewiston and Auburn,  Maine.  Lewiston-Auburn College's (LAC) mission seeks to  provide students with educational experiences that  "foster in them  a sense of ethical and civic  responsibility."
          The OCS/S-L connects students, faculty, staff and community members in partnerships that enhance  student learning, strengthen community assets, meet  immediate  needs, and address root causes of social problems.  By combining service with academic and  experiential learning, LAC adds a depth and breadth of learning to serve students for the 21st century.
