April 12: Data Visualizations and Diversity in Maine — Evidence, Art, and Advocacy From W.E.B. Du Bois to Now
Immerse yourself in W.E.B. Du Bois’s exhibit of African Americans created for the Paris 1900 Exposition Universelle. Engage in gallery walks of the exhibit, lectures, and critical dialogue of the data visualizations of meaningful, complex sociological data, poetry, short fiction, and photography. Tickets are free and lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
