Guest Faculty Tom Coash a Finalist for National Playwriting Award

Tom Coash, a New Haven, CT. playwright and director, is a finalist for the American Theatre Critics Association’s New Play Award for his play, "Veils." Mr. Coash is currently mentoring a Stonecoast student and the program is delighted that he'll be guest teaching a seminar at the 2015 summer residency.

Student Elisabeth Tova Bailey has this to say about working with Tom: "I am delighted to have Tom Coash as my playwriting mentor. He designed a terrific reading list for me based on my specific playwriting directions. As I now craft my first scenes for a three-act, he is there in the wings with encouragement, suggestions, questions, empathy, humor, and sage advice."
