Student Sociology Association Fundraiser Benefit at Local Sprouts

The Student Sociology  
Association is holding a fundraiser benefit hosted by Local Sprouts  
Cooperative in their Cafe at 649 Congress St. in Portland on Saturday,  
February 4th, 2012, from 5 until 9p.m. We will have live music performed by  
our own Hannah Kramer, a silent auction with wonderful local, sustainable  
products and services, and of course the wonderful food of Local Sprouts Cafe  
available for sale. A portion of the proceeds from Local Sprouts will go to  
our fundraiser, as will all donations and proceeds from our silent auction.  
We aspire to create a Peace Action and Social Justice Scholarship fund and/or  
donate proceeds to a local charitable cause such as a shelter, food pantry,  
or fuel fund for needy families. It will be a fun-filled, family-friendly  
event. We hope to see you there!
