What is Orientation?
Orientation is your first interaction with USM as an enrolled student. Here's what you can expect.

Undergraduate Orientation is a one-day program designed to introduce new students to all things USM. Whether you're coming straight out of high school or transferring from another school, this one-day program will give you the chance to:
- meet other new students
- meet current students, faculty, and staff
- tour the campuses
- discover the abundant resources available to you as a new USM student
- provide you the chance to meet with an academic advisor who will review any college-level work you have and guide your course choices for your first semester here
- register for your first semester classes
Graduate students will have their orientation facilitated by their individual programs.
