Whitney Kangas is originally from Buckfield, Maine. She began working at the University of Southern Main in 2011 and is currently working as a Graduate Assistant. She attended the University of Maine at Orono, receiving her Bachelor's degree in Sociology with race, class and gender studies concentration. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in School Counseling. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, and making jewelry.
