Mathematically Alive: A Story of Fandom

Why do fans invest so much emotion, time and money into their team even in the face of adversity? For some it's an escape from reality, for others it forms their identity.

This prize winning documentary explores why sports are such an integral part of American culture - the stories of these NY Mets fans are the stories of any fan in America.

The film will be followed by Q&A with sports psychologist, Dan Wann who is featured in the film (and presenting at the Sport Psychology Institute at USM), and filmmakers Katherine Foronjy and Joseph Coburn.
